Meet Kimberly Noel

Whole Family Therapy

Congratulations! You have taken the first step in strengthening your family by seeking therapeutic support for you or your child.

Being a parent, or caregiver, is no small thing.  There are so many challenges now-a-days.  The child mental health crisis has grown, and with it, the family mental health crisis, which means treatment must include the family as a whole.

My role as a therapist is to assist your child and family as a whole in working towards your goals by offering a supportive and safe space, providing the opportunity for growth as a family. I believe in the healing power of connection, and see therapy as a collaborative process. Through a strengths-based,  family-centered therapeutic approach, I recognize the importance of building a relationship with clients in order to establish realistic and attainable goals together. I strive to provide a safe and warm environment where we can explore the barriers and frustrations of family life. My goal is to help navigate and guide you towards the freedom of positive family interactions, supportive communication and acceptance.

I am a Clinical Social Work Associate in the state of Washington. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, 2008, from San Francisco State University, and received my Bachelors in Social Work from Pacific Union College.

In my work I’ve supported children navigating transitions, behavioral issues, loss, and changes in relationships. I use a collaborative, whole family, strengths-based approach in my work. My professional background involves being a Preschool teacher and Kindergarten teacher, working collaboratively with children and families to navigate the challenges of school and home life.   I have also provided in-home therapeutic intervention and dyadic parent-child work, as well as having the honor of working and supporting children and their families on the Autistic Specturm. The combination of all my professional experiences has given me a well-rounded perspective on how best to support children and families through their healing journey.
